Cheesy and fun. Delightful costumes and goofy fantasy world effects, like The Wizard of Oz. An innocent but suggestive and good-looking central character. Great floating striptease to start the movie. From the world that Austin Powers was conceived. Lots of trippy visual effects. Fun music whenever Pygar takes off. All the makings of an underground classic.

Fonda is very cute. Amazing eyes. But what makes her so appealing is how seriously she takes all of this silliness. Underneath it all, I get the sense that she’s pretty funny and smart. She’s also articulate in a goofy sort of way, just like Elizabeth Montgomery.
