Classic 80’s feel-good movie. Lots of things work well: the great characters, the story, the music. Even the baseball action is pretty good.
Baseball flaw: At the end of the movie, Taylor calls his shot but intends to bunt. Yet when the first pitch is delivered to him, he does not square around to bunt the ball. In his normal batting stance, he ducks out of the way to avoid being hit by the pitch.
