Nice story, and pretty well-made. Though released in 1990, this might be the last great movie in the spirit of the 80’s feel-good genre.
Roberts pulls off the stripper with a heart of gold. Gere is charming.
But what’s the real lesson here? That’s it’s OK to be a hooker? That it’s OK to pay for sex?
