Thoughts on every movie I've ever seen.

A story about unrelated criminals who gather to commit a common crime, not too different from Reservoir Dogs. And the whole story revolved around a case with unknown but extremely valuable contents, like Pulp Fiction. Weird. A simple story with lots of neat twists and developments. Nice and long. All movies with good flavor should be long. The car chases were pretty good. Reminiscent of The French Connection?

De Niro and Reno made a great team, and had good chemistry on screen together. Gregor was really cool. Not sure if it was the acting or the writing that did it. I was kinda waiting for De Niro to kill himself (or to make a decision not to kill himself in a specific situation) at the end after referring to it earlier. De Niro’s comment that he “never left” the CIA wasn’t clear to me. I had to piece it all together with Steve after the movie was over.

Lots of grays and browns. The only colors were in the actors faces. The credits over the action of the movie were kinda neat. Gave it a very 70’s feel.
