Thoughts on every movie I've ever seen.

Directed by David Fincher

Starring Michael Douglas, Deborah Kara Unger, Sean Penn, James Rebhorn

Fantastic story. Really great. Nice and long, too, which lets us get really in-depth with the story. A few minor problems though. First, how could his drug-addicted, junkie brother afford a scam like that? And second, if his brother loved him so much, how could he have taken so many risks with his life? Putting him underwater in a sinking car was one of many situations that endangered his life. The fact that he came so close to death because of his brother who was supposed to love him makes this film seem almost like a fantasy.

Good cast and acting. The cast is not overdone with useless stars like most movies these days. Some great shots, like the cab going underwater. The film is kinda dark overall, like Fincher’s Seven.
