Thoughts on every movie I've ever seen.

The Kid (1921)

Directed by Charles Chaplin

Starring Charles Chaplin, Edna Purviance, Jackie Coogan, Carl Miller

Author

Decent comedy, Chaplin has done better. Love his Chevy-like humor of subtlety. The kid and the flying dog are funny. Brisk is pretty good. Why do all villains in these older movies (like Voyage to the Moon), especially supernatural characters like aliens or devils, always wear tights?

That guy may have been the first Schwarzenegger character. Why did guys fight like little girls back then? Was that supposed to be accurate depiction of a fist fight or a silly one?

Hardly a comedy at all, almost touching.

Irising was kinda cool.
