Courage Under Fire meets A Time To Kill. Pretty boring. The whole premise/comflict seems unimportant. A lot of talking, and it gets tiresome.
Big cast. How many times has Cruise played the hot-headed military man/lawyer? He’s pretty much a young Paul Newman. Pollack’s pretty funny. I never thought Nicholson was that great an actor. The only reason he is so good in this movie is that the character he plays fits his monotone and unemotional delivery perfectly.
