A cheesy spoof of the series, like The Brady Bunch Movie. Tries to be funny and cool but isn’t either, just dumb. Who is this Nichol fellow, and how does he get to direct a huge movie?
None of them are drop-dead gorgeous as the film suggests, so it doesn’t quite work. Wouldn’t it be nice if any of them really knew some kung fu and didn’t have to rely on camera tricks? Rockwell was fun to watch, but the most interesting character for me was Luke Wilson.
The Matrix-like slo-mo acrobatics to Prodigy are mildly interesting. Liu in the bell tower was like the scene in Shanghai Noon.
How does she know it’s Pete when she calls from a pay phone?
