A mix of Poltergeist and Signs. Freaky things happen to a family in a suburban neighborhood, an old wise person comes to help, turns out it’s extraterrestrial in origin, and they communicate via walkie-talkies.
A few good stings, but the aliens were kind of crappy-looking.
