Not smart in any way. Plain photography, dumb comedy, horrible writing, an idiotic premise, little drama, and hardly as philosophical as I think it was meant to be. Those title cards were awful. I’m just not a Kevin Smith Fan.
Very eclectic cast. Ridiculously unrealistic writing and dialogue results in ridiculously unrealistic acting. Rock seems to do the best job of replacing the crap dialogue with some genuine individuality, and Morrissette was a cool choice for God. I wonder if she’ll pursue acting. She looked pretty good. Rickman was pretty good too.
