What looked like a goofball comedy really caught me by surprise. This road comedy with a happy-go-lucky goofball and a goal-oriented straight man reminded me a lot of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.
Downey is wonderful as the straight man, with razor sharp dialogue and comic timing. Galifianakis keeps up. Cameos by Lewis and McBride are particularly good.
