Probably Schumacher’s most interesting film.
Like Mosquito Coast, a story about how society drives a good man to be bad. We’ve all felt like this guy at some point. I’d love to see a movie like this come out today.
Douglas is intense, but is this his normal psychosis? Or did something happen to make him snap? Predergast’s wife was just annoying. Not sure how that contributed to the story.
