Great characters, great settings, and really good sound, but not very much of a storyline. I mean, what really happens? It was basically a biography of a gangster, or a documentary of gangster life, with a bit of comedy.
With a little more temporal disjunction, this could have been the work of Tarantino. It already displayed Quentin-esque characteristics in that it ran from middle-beginning-middle-end. And it was certainly bloody enough.
