The story and shallowness of characters reminded me of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. This film starts as a comedy then slowly shifts (not very smoothly) into a more serious movie. I liked it for the love story, not for the comedy. How many times has that Psycho shower scene been copied? That “opinions are like assholes” quote was pretty funny. Cool film quality at the end.
Downey is funny. He looks a bit like Brandon Lee.
