The film was a surprisingly good love story for someone like Warren Beatty being the star. I bet it was easier for them being husband and wife.
The first segment of the movie is a little slow-moving. It picks up a little later as it gets more emotional. The characters, at times (especially the beginning), seem a little fake, maybe due to bad acting. Basically, this movie is When Harry Met Sally, but not as good.
