The Jewel of the Nile (1985)

They brought the same actors back, and the characters have the same charm, but the story’s not quite as good.

The Money Pit (1986)

With impeccable control of his physicality and voice, Hanks is a real comedic talent. Long does her best to keep up. Good characters and a decent story. Love the foundation metaphor at the end.
