Good characters, action, and story. Great fantasy which sets a great mood. Seeing it on the big screen makes a huge difference. Awesome punching sound!
Remarkably polished for 1981. It even stands up well today. This might have been the first film to conquer the low-quality film, bad color, messy sound, and sloppy editing deficiencies of the 60’s and 70’s.
Ford is perfect.
