Typical 80’s cool-cat-takes-uptight-youngster-under-his-wing-in-his-struggle-against-the-man storyline.
Kilmer was hot property at this point, but his infantile humor is grating. Meyrink was the original Neve Campbell. I’ve always liked William Atherton.
I remember that Weird Science came out at the same time as this one, and I ended up choosing this one. Bad move.
