Senna (2010)

I knew nothing about the man. Now I know a lot. Senna really was an interesting guy. Soft-spoken, graceful, respectful, but a fierce competitor on the track. An interesting sports personality, for sure.

While the film seems grounded in reality, the dramatic ending is almost too tragic to be true. The long take of Senna’s final track footage was powerful.

A great collection of footage, and a wonderful editing job putting it all together. Well-crafted commentary and perfectly dated captions glue things together nicely. Wonderfully and subtly scored.

Much of the same feel, adrenalin, and antagonism as in Rush. An interesting companion piece.
