Ritchie is definitely making a name for himself. A lot like his Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels. Similar storyline (drugs, guns, money, and the recovery of a single, valuable object), similar characters (idiotic criminals, conniving bastards, careless gamblers, and some real bad-asses), lots of playful camera tricks, and many of the same actors. Pitt is pretty good, although hard to understand at times.
Not nearly as much trendy music as Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, which is great. A lot of funny moments and lines. Nice and long.
His stuff is quite a bit like Tarantino’s, only a bit smarter.
