Kill Bill meets The Matrix meets Annie.
These girls really kick ass. A heavily made-up and wonderfully expressive Browning mixes innocence with hopelessness with determination. I’m sure this is exactly the performance Snyder was hoping for.
Fantastic action. Really nice effects are mixed with beautiful Baroque/steampunk photography. There’s that unique Zack Snyder sound effect, somewhere between a laser beam and reverberating metal.
