The story-telling is a bit clunky, typical of movies from this time period. Best Picture? Really? Russian roulette is always dramatic. I wonder how dramatic this would have been without that scene.
De Niro is intense, as expected. Walken was pretty good. Streep actually used to be pretty hot. Cazale reminds me of Martin Ferrero.
The musical score outdoes the amateurish 70’s visuals.
