A bit slow at the start. A subplot would have been helped. Everything is geared toward Morris making the majors, and it would have been nice if there was something else to keep us interested. His arrival in the majors was touching, I have to admit. A shot of the real Jim Morris at the end would have been nice.
The high school drama might have been a bit more interesting if the players were developed a bit more. Not many real personalities on that team.
I like Quaid. He does seem kind of athletic.
