Not a bad extension of the story.
I like Hedlund as the lead. He would have been a bit more dramatic if he was a little less cocky, but he does vaguely look and sound like Bridges. Young Bridges’ face is a little smooth and plastic-looking, and the extreme expressions aren’t quite right. but we’re almost ready to have virtual actors in the movies.
Polished effects and a Daft Punk score really help to capture the mood from the first one.
