A poor showing all around, but then again, most movies of the early 80’s have a certain kind of awkwardness to them. Even Spielberg’s segment seems like a rookie effort. Miller’s segment is best (thought the same as a kid).
Overall, it’s heavily scripted, poorly acted. Te exception is Lithgow, with perhaps his best performance.
Some pretty good monster effects with the rabbit in the hat and the airplane monster.
