Surprisingly interesting characters and good performances for a superhero movie. Haley is wonderful in and out of costume as Rorschach, Goode plays a wonderful villain, and Crudup’s Dr. Manhattan might be one of the biggest bad-asses in the universe. Interesting choice to show his dong.
Rorschach’s got the same voice as Bale’s Batman, and Nite Owl looks like Batman. Are we running out of unique superhero qualities?
Snyder’s style works well with this one. Dark and quirky, with really nice effects and some really nice fighting sequences.
