Entertaining, but seemed a bit sterile somehow, perhaps because Ratner and not Singer directed this one. Pretty gutsy killing off some of the major characters. Was The Last Stand really The Last Sequel?
Lots of nice effects. Jean Grey as Phoenix was awesome. Her eye and face effects were very effective. But a lot of the other X-Men skills were showcased gratuitously. I would have liked to see them used more genuinely.
