Good 80’s action movie with great Verhoeven bloodiness, but the story and characters are a little thin. Certainly took some inspiration from Terminator.
Weller’s pretty good, but it’s too bad this is the only thing he’d ever be known for. Smith, who’s had a long career playing tame supporting characters, turns in an easy, disturbing performance as Boddicker.
