A marvelous collection of footage and really well put-together. Poitras captured some poignant moments. The shots of Snowden looking out the window, and even the shot of him grooming himself in the mirror, carries weight. Even the B-roll stuff is great.
I’m amazed that Snowden and Greenwald allowed Poitras to follow them so closely. Snowden’s an eloquent guy.
A creepy, Reznor-like score, like the one in Social Network. It works again here.
