Cute for an older movie. This may have been one of the first real, dialogue-driven, big star, ensemble cast, mainstream comedies in film history.
Lemmon’s got a knack for comedy, Curtis holds his own. Monroe is pretty hot and charming, but she’s a little all over the place. She lacks a certain grace. From what I’m reading, she was difficult on the set of the movie.
