She was an interesting person, and the movie really shows you how an autistic person feels. The most fascinating thing was Grandin’s autistic self-awareness at the end. I would have liked to see more of that.
Danes pulls off a pretty good performance. It’s almost laughable at first, but her delivery is consistent and emotional. Got a bit choked up a few times.
I wonder if Grandin appreciates the film.
