Same blaring horns and character-heavy plot of the other Batman movies. The setup was a bit slow, but the second half was pretty solid.
Hathaway was OK, but I still preferred Pfeiffer. Hardy was good as Bane, but his mask made it hard for him to be expressive and, with that much vocal processing, tricky to understand. Gordon-Levitt, normally annoying, was pretty good.
With the clever establishment of Robin, we’re wide open for sequels. We’ll have to wait and see if someone picks up where Nolan left off without destroying the franchise. I’m not sure if Batman could handle another reboot.
