Long and slow, with a lot of silly moments which make the Godzilla movies so charming. The atempt to make it an emotional human drama failed miserably. Like a cross between Frankenstein and Independence Day. Some Independence Day patriotic air battle scenes and Jaws music over almost every Godzilla shot. Starring Jimmy Smits as Kazuto Kirishina.
The monster looked pretty good. nice to see that they’re staying faithful to tradition overseas even if they’re not here. Lots of Black Hole-like 3D line graphics.
