Good horror. Good characters. Good acting. Nice flavor. Great story. But why would she want the sheriff to stay at her house?
Interesting film from a guy like Reiner. Also interesting that they wanted Warren Beatty for the lead. He probably would have done better than Caan. Everyone wants to see a cocky prettyboy like Beatty beaten up.
That “hobbling” scene was delightfully nasty. And the music is pretty scary, too. Funny quote, “I had to check both legs to see which one was being pulled.”
