A Tarantino-ish, jumpy story of interconnectivity and coincidence, chock full of guns, drugs, and money, with a few appealing (Vinnie Jones), interesting (Dexter Fletcher), and mildly amusing (the sputtering old, fat man) characters, using the trendy soundtrack music and camera tricks (some of which are kinda cool) which have become typical of indie films. The only thing that sets it apart from other imitations is that it’s very English. And that means that I probably didn’t pick up on a lot of the inside jokes, slang, or mannerisms.
Tom Hanks pulls the same seatbelt trick in Turner and Hooch.
