A tough act to follow. Obviously, not as original as the first.
The plot’s a bit convoluted, everyone one-ups each other with the same enigmatic dialogue, the fight scenes are a bit too CGIed, the timing’s a bit off (witness the super-long tribal dance scene). Something’s just not quite right about this one.
The effects are good but overused. The matrix zoom into the vagina was a bit much. Lots of kung fu action. Keanu must have practised a lot. Lots of the same kind of futuristic tribal nonsense you might find in Star Wars movie.
