For most of the actors, the “one-upping” dialogue was annoying and stunted. Hutton isn’t much more than a grown up version of Justin Timberlake. But Lone is good in a difficult role. Though a bit small, he does the animal thing really well, and he successfully makes Charlie human.
Encino Man with a sci-fi bent. Not sure the situation was dealt with realistically, and I’m not sure I’m OK with the ending.
