Active Measures (2018)

Directed by Jack Bryan

Starring Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, Jeremy Bash, Nina Burleigh

Fast-moving. There’s a lot of information here, almost blurringly edited. Skipping around from person to person, relationship to relationship, it’s all a bit hard to follow. And most of the graphics flash past too quickly to read.

What’s main argument here? Russians are bad? Putin is bad? Trump is bad? Active measures are bad? In the end, everything stinks. But what’s he one thing that should be addressed first?

It’s all bit eye-opening and scary, scarier if it’s true, and scarier still if nothing’s being done about it. I wonder how much of this is addressed in the recent Mueller Report, which somehow was not a slam dunk case against Trump.
