Why do civilians not know who Godzilla is in any of the movies? Would be great if there was some sort of continuity after 50 years of monster attacks.
They are consistent about some things, though. The effects are cheesy and the dialogue is truly ridiculous. After all these years, why can’t the western voiceover actors pronounce “nuclear” correctly?
I’m guessing the Japanese don’t take these movies seriously. I sure hope they don’t.
