A quirky, funny story about a kid and a rock band. Crowe’s best, probably the film that closest to his heart. Nice dramatic pauses. Fugit should be up for an Oscar, Crudup is also very good. But I’m not sure how sympathetic I can be for a 16-year-old groupie slut.
