Thoughts on every movie I've ever seen.

Point of No Return (1993)

Directed by John Badham

Starring Bridget Fonda, Gabriel Byrne, Dermot Mulroney, Miguel Ferrer

Pretty good for a virtual copy. Interesting casting choices. The original was better, with cooler photography and better acting. Not sure why Badham, who usually chooses more intelligent, socially aware pieces (a poor man’s Oliver Stone), would choose a project like this.

Fonda is OK, but Byrne (probably the most faithful choice and the only role I have liked him in) and D’Abo (fantastic accent) are great. But Keitel just doesn’t compare to Reno as the cleaner. Her boyfriend had Laurie-lips.
