Not a wonderful story, almost silly.
Less emotional than Princess Mononoke, but features the same “selfish humanity versus the righteous supernatural” theme and a familiar Hisaishi score. Miyazaki’s films all feature simplistic humans with theatrical facial expressions and more complex supernatural characters, including tiny, cute ones and large majestic ones.
