A very personal performance. You can tell they still care about what they do and have fun doing it. The only thing that would have made it more personal was if they had played to the camera a bit more. For the most part, they were oblivious. Had they known how up close and personal these shots were going to be, I think they would have interacted with us a bit more.

The 3D is fantastic. Not only does it seem like I’m there, but I know that I have a better seat than anyone in the stadium. Editing is wonderful, with some really cool “layering” effects and animation. Quality recording and IMAX theater technology combine to produce some amazing sound.

One of the things that has always made the members o the band so appealing is that they are all so humble understated. It draws you in. Even Bono, the most flamboyant of the group, is not nearly the obnoxious camera hog that he could be.

I just wonder how much my U2 bias affected my enjoyment of the show. Would I have enjoyed it as much if it had been, say, the Rolling Stones?
