Jeff's Reviews

Thoughts on every movie I've ever seen.

Blade Runner (Director’s Cut) (1982)

Directed by Ridley Scott

Starring Harrison Ford, Rutger Hauer, Sean Young, Edward James Olmos

Great visual style and effects, but the story runs a little slow.

Why is it that all movies depicting the future present a super-fantastic world impossible to approach even at our most optimistic? No way we’ll advance as quickly as the writers predict. We have too many problems nowadays.

I absolutely love the quote in the movie, “A light that burns twice as bright only lives half as long, and you have shined ever so brightly.”
