There is very little of a story, just enough to keep my interest hanging by a thread. What there is of a story is almost totally uninteresting, and the way in which it is presented is even worse. It was very cheaply made. One could blame this on the fact that it was made in an environment which did not support high-quality films, but I cannot consider that an excuse for why it was such a bad movie. I must judge every film I see on an equal scale, and if some films are produced under difficult circumstances, that is unfortunate. I cannot say that a high school production is just as good as a Paramount summer hit telling the same story with better cinematography just because the high school kids had to work with a lower budget.
