An exploration of love in all its forms. Ingeniously interwoven storylines, wonderful dialogue, great comedic timing, and inspirational music make a romantic holiday movie that’s almost perfect.
Fantastic cast and acting all around. I can’t believe the actors they assembled for this one, and how each one, famous or not, young or old, so effortlessly plays the perfect role. Every character has their own arc, and all the lows set up the highs perfectly. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry.
When those Brits want to make a good movie, they know how to do it. Sorry to see that Curtis hasn’t really directed much else.
