Dark and nostaligic, a lot like Anderson’s Rushmore or Royal Tenebaums, although not quite as dramatically or stylistically over the top, so it sits in that uncomfortable “Is this supposed to be funny or is this supposed to be real?” zone a few times. The horn scene had me crying……

A light dark comedy. Tobey’s interesting as a brooding genius. Douglas has always had a way with words and has always been a master of deadpan.

Action sequences are OK, but the story in between is silly. Lee sure is quick. I love the sound they used for people falling onto the ground in the 70’s.
