So far, my least favorite of Chan’s. Too much Hollywood explosions and guns and killing, and not enough real Jackie action. The girl, not Jackie, has some of the best stunts. She took away some of Jackie’s thunder. Her jumping into the closed door was pretty funny.
A decent story which flows just fast enough to keep us interested between the action sequences. Chan is goofily funny as usual. The star’s demonstration for other fighters seems to be common at the beginning of Chan’s and Lee’s movies.
Fantastic intro sequence. It got my hopes up. Great sound effects and music. They do wonders for the fight sequences.
