Thoughts on every movie I've ever seen.

The Innocents (1961)

Directed by Jack Clayton

Starring Deborah Kerr, Peter Wyngarde, Megs Jenkins, Michael Redgrave

Your basic story about possessed kiddies in a haunted English castle. A few freaky parts, but kinda boring slow overall. I couldn’t believe the kid kissed the woman, and I really couldn’t believe when the woman kissed the kid. I love that spontaneous brow sweat characters develop when they get nervous. Interesting shot of the boy slapping the Jello bunny. The girls cries were so shrill. The sound is often so bad in older films that the treble of yelling tears my ears to shreds.
