Touching. A few creepy moments, and a nice twist at the end. But who gets the sixth sense? Does everyone with the sixth sense have the same physical attributes? Is Cole simply a reincarnation of Vincent Gray? Are Cole’s scratchmarks self-inflicted after all?

Osment is fantastic. Very creepy, very believable, and eerily mature for such a little kid. How does a such a young fellow play such a mature role so realitically? Because he’s naturally mature in real life? Or is it because he’s strictly directed and exceptionally talented? Too bad neither kids nor horror movies hardly ever get Oscars. Willis is pretty good. Nice to see him doing something more serious for a change. He smirks for half the movie but not nearly as much as he usually does.

Shyamalan’s got talent. He picked a good story and executed it well. Good timing, nice shots. I think he should take a chance with a larger acting role.

Unusually long credits over black at the beginning. Nice Blair Witch Project shot with the flashlight under the red sheets.
